Camas

Ever since we first visited the quaint town of Camas, we fell in love with it. It's hard to believe that it's so close to Portland. It feels like a world away. It has a wonderful historic district with a discount theater, restaurants and quirky antique shops.
A couple of weeks ago we went to Camas Days. I was interested to see the bathtub races.
I was hoping I would see all manner of homemade bathtub vehicles, but the same two bathtubs were raced in each round. It was still funny because the fire department made sure the bathtubs were filled with water.
The main street was filled with booths and activities. Ethan and Caleb tried out the climbing wall.
Last week the street was decked out in quilts for the quilt and fiber arts festival. There were some great examples of yarn bombing.

There's always something fun happening in Camas. We find ourselves there a lot!
