I was so happy to finally be at our new home. The owner was waiting for us and ready to give me the grand tour. Jason was right, the house is awesome. I felt so lucky that we were able to live here!
This is the view from the front door. I have my recliner in the living room arranged so I can gaze out the window and watch the sunlight fade in the evenings. I also check the hill in the morning to see how misty it is outside by how much of the hill I can see.
Ethan was never able to catch a frog, but he caught many tadpoles and raised them until they were tiny frogs before he let them go.
In the morning and evening we sometimes see brown rabbits dart across the gravel road that goes up to our house. We've also seen a fox that lives nearby and a coyote cross the street in the neighborhood.

This is our nearest neighbor, Juan Carlos. He is such a little sweetheart! He always stays close to his protector the brown horse.
